Renault’s Ex-CEO Bollore Energizes UK’s Bedeo as EV Advisor

Bollore’s New Advisory Role

Bedeo, a prominent UK electric vehicle supplier, announced the appointment of Thierry Bollore, the former CEO of Renault and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), to their advisory board as a strategic advisor. This move comes as Bedeo steps up its efforts to electrify commercial transportation.

Bedeo’s Electrification Drive

In September, Bedeo, known for creating electric powertrains and collaborating with Stellantis, the world’s third-largest automaker, introduced a service to transform diesel vans into electric hybrids. The initiative is kicking off in France, aiming to leverage government incentives for converting traditional vehicles to more sustainable alternatives.

Bollore’s Leadership Experience

Bollore brings a wealth of experience to Bedeo, having led Renault through a turbulent period following the arrest of Carlos Ghosn in 2018. He later took the helm at Tata Motors’ unit JLR for two years before his departure at the end of 2022.

“I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with Bedeo in support of pursuing the company’s mission,” Bollore reportedly stated, underlining his commitment to the advancement of electric mobility.
