Tesla Connector Supercharges Electrify America

Volkswagen’s unit, Electrify America, announced its plans to adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector by 2025. The addition will broaden its electric vehicle charging network across the U.S. and Canada.

As it transitions, Electrify America reportedly assured it will continue providing the existing Combined Charging System (CCS) connector. This decision follows other automakers like Ford and General Motors, who have already opted for Tesla’s charging design earlier this month.
