Tesla tuner partners with Koenigsegg for High-end performance parts
Tesla tuner Unplugged Performance (UP) has partnered with Koenigsegg Advanced Manufacturing (KAM) to bring high-end aftermarket performance parts to Tesla drivers globally.
The partnership that was privately started in 2021 between the Tesla tuner and the hypercar manufacturer, is making a limited number of carbon fiber parts available to Tesla drivers around the world.
Later in 2022, the partnership between Koenigsegg and Unplugged Performance should bring more performance parts to the market.
The aftermarket performance parts that are shown below all utilize Koenigsegg’s world-leading specialty in carbon fiber manufacturing.
The same craftsmen and the same materials that are used for the current Koenigsegg hypercars are involved in the creation of these new aftermarket parts.
To manufacture these parts, Koenigsegg uses a proprietary carbon fiber weave that is impregnated with an epoxy resin, precision computer cut to the geometry of the product, assembled by hand by artisans using specialized tooling, pressurized, and temperature optimized in an autoclave, extracted, precision trimmed, sanded, precision bonded, finished in a UV clear coat and topped with a special collaboration sticker indicating the manufacturing partnership.

Tesla tuner has only limited quantities available
We’re excited to see the new UP x KAM performance parts coming to the market as it will allow Tesla drivers to further personalize their cars. Of course, it helps to know that these aftermarket carbon fiber parts are made by one of the world’s leading hypercar manufacturers, Koenigsegg.
A limited quantity of these parts is now available at the Unplugged Performance’s Hawthorne headquarters, so if you’re interested you better act fast.
