Tesla to Open New Service Center in Flower Mound
Good news for electric vehicle (EV) enthusiasts in Flower Mound! Tesla, the leading name in electric vehicles, has secured approval to set up a new service center, marking its first establishment in Denton County. This expansion underscores the increasing footprint of electric vehicles in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Situated on a sprawling 5.33-acre plot at 1805 Justin Road, this 51,391-square-foot center will be the fourth of its kind in Dallas-Fort Worth, complementing Tesla’s existing outlets in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Plano.
According to Tesla’s design manager Dhwani Dave, “Expanding and having this new center in Flower Mound is going to be vital to our presence in the state of Texas.” Echoing the company’s aspirations, Dave continued, “Our goal is to increase Tesla ownership in the surrounding areas — rely on existing customer base convenience and reliable access to our brand services — and contribute to the city’s highest standards for quality, lifestyle and sustainability.”
Interestingly, Denton County stands out in North Texas, reportedly accounting for nearly 19% of all EVs in the region. The new center aims to cater to this growing demand by offering a range of services six days a week – from software updates to tire replacements. In Dave’s words, “So, any customer who is bringing their car for a service appointment would be in and out of the site within an hour.”
Beyond the convenience to Tesla owners, this move also brings economic benefits. The Flower Mound center is set to create approximately 70 new jobs, bolstering local employment.
