Tesla Unveils New Supercharging Powerhouse in Canton, Massachusetts

A Milestone for Electric Vehicle Charging

Tesla has officially opened its largest Supercharger station in Massachusetts, located in the parking lot of Trillium Brewing Company, Canton. This new installation boasts 20 stalls and is conveniently positioned near major highways I-93 and I-95, poised to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging in the area.

Rapid Charging Meets High Demand

Featuring Tesla’s advanced level 3 chargers, the Canton Supercharger station promises an impressive 80% battery refill in just about 30 minutes. This facility reflects Tesla’s strategic planning in response to the anticipated “massive demand” for EVs, fueled by Massachusetts’s strong incentives for EV ownership.

Station Specs and Services

Accessible 24/7, the station accommodates both Tesla vehicles and other EVs with CCS compatibility. Charging fees for non-Tesla EV owners are set at $0.53/kWh, with idle fees reaching up to $1/min. The site not only facilitates efficient charging but also offers amenities such as restaurants, WiFi, beverages, and restrooms, enhancing the overall user experience.

With the opening of this Supercharger station, Tesla continues to push the boundaries of EV infrastructure, supporting the transition to sustainable transportation in New England and beyond.
