Scientists at the University of Edinburgh are pioneering an innovative approach to recycling critical metals used in electric vehicle (EV) batteries and other green technologies. As Horsfall points out, “If we are going to end our dependence on petrochemicals and rely on electricity for our heating, transport and power, then we will become more and more dependent on metals.”
