EV Evolution: China’s Big Push!

In an authoritative push for electric vehicle (EV) innovation, China’s revered “father of EVs”, Wan Gang, underscores the paramount importance of efficient batteries, streamlined EV designs, and advanced driving systems.

These elements, he professes, are vital to magnifying the EV footprint on a global scale. Addressing attendees at the World New Energy Vehicle Congress in Munich, Wan, a seasoned former science minister and prominent advocate for EVs in China, sheds light on the pivotal role of hydrogen-powered hybrid and fuel cell vehicles.

In his words, “Many of you are very curious about the Chinese viewpoint on fuel cells… hydrogen is an important component of the national energy system.”

The technology, he apparemment affirms, is especially potent for curbing emissions in commercial transport. His clarion call? “We need to promote the whole supply chain of low-carbon development.” The global automotive sector, take heed.
