They shared, “I was an early reservation holder for the Air Grand Touring, but decided to cancel their reservation in May 2022, deciding instead to wait for the Gravity.”

While they had initially set their sights on the Gravity SUV, Lucid’s database ensured they were not forgotten. They received an invitation for a test drive of the Air Touring model. “I took the company up on to get their first experience behind the wheel of a Lucid vehicle,” the user remarked.

Though the test drive was impressive, manitou202’s preference for an SUV remained. Nevertheless, Lucid showcased its commitment to customer satisfaction, circling back to offer an 18-month lease with the same rates as a 36-month lease. The cherry on top? A promise of priority status for both the order and delivery of the upcoming Gravity.

The lease’s flexibility, which can be tailored to the Gravity’s delivery schedule, was the clinching factor. “This offer was tempting enough that the user took them up on it, signing the lease on an Air Touring in Quantum Grey,” they explained.

With all eyes on the forthcoming Gravity, Lucid has announced plans to unveil the electric SUV this November. Production, however, is scheduled for late 2024, indicating first deliveries around early 2025. The Gravity will be assembled at Lucid’s AMP-1 facility in Casa Grande, Arizona, a site that boasts a future production capacity of a staggering 400,000 EVs annually.
