Die elektrisierende Geschwindigkeit des Cybertrucks stiehlt das Rampenlicht

The world of electric vehicles (EVs) never fails to surprise, and leading the pack is none other than Tesla’s Cybertruck. Elon Musk, Tesla’s visionary CEO, once declared that Tesla doesn’t make slow cars. A recent sighting confirms he meant every word of it.

When you think of a truck, you rarely think of speed, especially not one that can leave conventional cars in the dust. However, the Cybertruck seems to be setting a new standard. At its grand reveal, CEO Elon Musk notably presented a video where the premier Cybertruck outpaced a Porsche 911 in a quarter-mile race. Considering the sheer size and weight of the Cybertruck, its speed is downright jaw-dropping.

A lucky Tesla enthusiast recently had a real-time experience of the Cybertruck’s blazing speed. As they waited at a stop light, the all-electric pickup truck took off, leaving them struggling to catch a glimpse. By the time they made the turn, the Cybertruck was already far ahead.

But how fast can the Cybertruck really go? When it was first unveiled, Tesla mentioned a 0-60 mph time of just 2.9 seconds for the top-tier variant. Since its initial reveal, there have been tweaks to its design and possibly its battery technology. This suggests that the production model might outperform the already impressive specs announced in 2019.

Recently, Musk himself gave us a teaser of what to expect. After test driving the Cybertruck Performance, which will likely be the crème de la crème model, he didn’t hold back on his excitement. He expressed that “it kicks *ss next-level.

While Tesla has been keeping the finer details of the Cybertruck’s specs and pricing under wraps, the wait for this electric beast may soon be over. Expected to roll out in Q4 2023, the launch might be a tad delayed, but as Musk and other Tesla top brass have indicated, the Cybertruck will undoubtedly be worth the wait.
